Setting time zones on your account and events ensures that your event's booking windows open and closes at the right time and that the event session times are correctly displayed for ticket buyers.
Daylight savings
If your event spans a daylight saving time change, TryBooking will automatically adjust the event's time zone to reflect the change. There is no need to manually update your event or account time zone settings when the clocks change.
Setting a timezone at the account level
When signing up with TryBooking, your account timezone will be automatically applied from your Geocode location. The timezone set for your account will be the default for all new events created.
To change your account time zone:
From the Dashboard side menu, select Events, then Global Event Settings
From the Timezone field, select the time zone that currently applies to you
Click Save
Setting a timezone at the event level
When creating an event, you can specify an event timezone that is different from your account timezone, this is helpful if you run events across different regions.
To change the event time zone after creating an event:
From the Dashboard, under Manage events overview, click on your event name
From the left menu, select Basic Information, then Session times
Using the Timezone drop-down field select the timezone for the event
All session times on the event and booking dates will now be updated with your changed timezone.
