Do you have volunteers or casual staff members that sell tickets on the door? We have a special user type called Box Office User, that will give them access to the Point of Sale area only.
They will not have access to the main account areas that allow for editing events, looking up or editing existing bookings, or viewing reports.
Administrator Access and Basic Access Users will also have access to Box Office via the Dashboard of the account.
To create a box office user:
- From the left menu, click Dashboard
- On the left menu, select Box Office and click Settings
- Click Box office users
- Select Add new user
- Enter the user's first and last name, email and password
- Click Save and close
Box Office Users will log in to the Point of Sale screen via the Login button in the top right of the TryBooking website. Once they have successfully entered in their user name and password, they will be taken directly into the point of sale screen, where they can select the event they are selling to.
Should you have staff that need further access to managing event and bookings on your account, it is recommended that you set them up as a Basic Access User instead. See Different levels of access for further information.
