Whether GST/VAT applies to funds raised through TryBooking depends on your GST/VAT registration with the ATO (AU), IRD (NZ) or HMRC (UK) – not on your event or account settings.
If you’re registered for GST, you can mark your pricing as GST-inclusive by adding your ABN (AU) or IRD number (NZ) in Account Settings. Once enabled, you’ll be able to:
View a GST breakdown using the GST Activity Report
Issue Tax Invoices so customers can clearly see the GST included in their purchase
If GST-inclusive pricing isn’t enabled on your ticket types, TryBooking won’t apply or display any GST information for those sales.
