By default Box Office will not collect customer data. This is to allow for quick and easy processing of bookings at the entry to your event. In this default mode you will still have the option to enter in the customers email address to email tickets and the receipt on completion of purchase.
If you are wanting to collect the Customer Name, Email, Phone Number or Postcode, then you will be able to enable via the Box Office Settings.
Once enabled, these fields will appear at the checkout, allowing for data entry prior to selecting the payment type. These fields will be non-mandatory, allowing you to bypass should you require.
To enable collecting customer data via Box Office (Web):
- From the Dashboard, select Box Office on the side menu
- Select Settings
- Enable the field Customer data collection at checkout
- Click Save
This is setting is only available for Box Office (Web). This setting will to transactions made via the Box Office App
