Should you be promoting your event on various sites (including social media platforms), you will be able to report on what URL have referred your customers to your TryBooking Event.
The URL Referrer report will show you not only the URL that referrer your customer, but also the number of tickets these customers purchased and the monetary amount associated with the bookings.
This can be helpful for discovering where your customer base is coming from, allowing for:
- Scaling up or down marketing resources to those channels
- Discovering or managing partnerships with other organisations/3rd parties
URL Referrer tracking is automatically activated on all TryBooking events. All you need to do is share your event URL or QR Code on the sites you wish to promote your event. For assistance in locating your event URL see: Direct Links/URLs for your event
To view URL Referrer data:
- From the left menu, click Reports
- Select Marketing Reports
- Select Ticket sales per URL referrer
- Select your event name
- Click Generate Report
Bookings made to your event via the following areas will be counted under www.trybooking.com:
- The Find Event or Buy Tickets search on the TryBooking website
- The Buy more tickets and Find other events options at checkout
- The Event Listing Page and Event Listing Widget
- Bookings processed by the event organiser using either the Preview Event button or the Make a Booking options in their account
