The Homepage Template applies formatting and branding to the homepage of your events automatically upon completion of the Create New Event process. Not only does it save you time, it also helps provide a standard look and feel across your events.
Consistent branding adds an extra level of professionalism to your events, boosts your brand and provides a more seamless integration with your website.

Creating and enabling the Homepage Template
To set up the Homepage template:
- From the left menu, click Dashboard
- From the left menu, click Templates then click Homepage template
- The preview screen will load first. Move between the Image and Edit tabs to upload images and apply your desired formatting. Learn more about customising your homepage here
- With your images and formatting saved down, on the Preview tab, use the Device Preview buttons to check that the formatting works across the different device views
- Once happy with what's in place, use the switch to tick Homepage template enabled
- Click Save
Avoid removing the tags to save time and keep your events consistent. While they'll still look like [EVENT_NAME], [SESSION_TIME] etc. in the Preview tab, once the template is used by an event, these tags will populate with the data that you entered upon Create New Event. Learn more about tags here.
Apply the template to existing events
Once enabled, the homepage template only applies to new events created via Create New Event. Events that had been created prior to the template being enabled will not have the template applied.
Events that have been created via Clone Event will take the formatting of the homepage and images from the event that was selected for cloning.
To apply the Homepage template to events that have already been created or cloned:
- From the left menu, click Dashboard
- From the Manage events overview, click on your event name
- From the left menu, click on Homepage & images under Basic Information
- Click the Edit tab
- Click RESTORE DEFAULT
- A preview of the Homepage template will display. Click RESTORE to apply the template to the event
- Click Save
Restore Default will replace the formatting on the Edit tab and the images uploaded into the Images tab. Should no images be uploaded on the template, it will remove those images already uploaded within the event homepage.
