By default, a count of how many tickets are still available will display when 20 or less tickets remain of a session, section or ticket type.
This is helpful to your ticket buyers, as it allows them to make the right selection based on the number of tickets they are intending to purchase. It can also be a prompt for them to complete their booking as soon as possible whilst there is still a limited number of tickets available.
However, if you are running a small-scale event you may choose to disable the availability count to avoid the assumption from potential customers that sales are underperforming.
To hide the availability count:
- From the left menu, click Dashboard
- Under Manage events overview, click the name of your event
- From the left menu, click Event publication, under Event promotion
- In the Publication tab, change the drop-down box for Show ticket count to No
- Click Save
