What's new?
Accessibly certified
Our booking pages are now WCAG 2 Level AA certified.
Accessibility is essential to ensure that all users, including those with disabilities, can easily access and interact with the event page. This sees clearer navigation, readable text, and screen reader compatibility. It not only broadens your audience but also improves usability overall, helping all visitors engage more effectively when booking to your event.
Improved handling of the Hero image
The new image display is designed to look great on any device, maintaining crisp, high-resolution visuals across all screen sizes. It’s thoughtfully designed not to take over the entire screen, ensuring your images enhance the page without overwhelming the booking experience.
You can choose between a banner or poster layout to best suit your event style, giving you more flexibility in how your content is presented.
Event Date and Location section
Positioned directly beneath the event’s hero image, this section highlights key event details, enabling guests to quickly and easily find important information at a glance.
This section clearly outlines the event’s start and end times, including the relevant time zone, along with the venue name and full address. It also provides convenient access to directions via Google Maps, making it easy for guests to plan their journey.
Hosted by area
Our new Host section makes it easy to showcase your organisation and build trust with your audience. Upload your logo and display your company name prominently to create a strong, professional presence on your event page.
This feature helps promote your organisation, reinforces ownership of the event, and gives customers a clear understanding of who is hosting — adding credibility and confidence at every step of the booking journey.
To enable Hosted by:
From your account Dashboard, under Manage events overview, click the name of your event
From the left menu, select Event name and contact, under Basic Information
Enable Display host information, and fill in the Host name and/or upload your logo
Click Save
Custom button colour
To better align with your brand, you can now customise the button colour across your booking page. Your selected colour will also be applied as a theme throughout the page, with coordinated accents in key areas such as the Dates and Location section, as well as across the broader booking experience.
To select your button colour:
From your account Dashboard, under Manage events overview, click the name of your event
From the left menu, select Homepage & Images, under Basic Information
Click Edit Homepage Information
In the colour field you can either enter your colour hex code by typing directly into it, or click on the colour swatch to select from the colour picker or enter RGB colour code manually
Click Save
Removal of Tags in the Homepage editor
To simplify editing and improve formatting, we’ve removed Tags from the Homepage editor. Your event description is now automatically inserted into the Homepage editor at the time of creation, making it easier to customise and format.
When cloning an event, any updates to the event description will need to be made after cloning via the Homepage Images section, along with any image updates.
Wallpaper background colour
Along with uploading an image, you can now select a colour for your event wallpaper, which appears behind the main landing area throughout the booking process. This allows you to create a more cohesive and visually engaging experience, reinforcing your branding and ensuring your event maintains a consistent look and feel from start to finish.
Better handling of tickets reserved in Carts
If a buyer adds tickets to their cart and then closes their browser or navigates back and forth during the booking process, the previously selected tickets will now be displayed in the ticket fields when they return.
From there, the buyer can choose to add more tickets, reduce the quantity, or proceed with their existing selection by clicking “Next.”
This update is designed to reduce the risk of customers unintentionally purchasing additional tickets.
Fees charged to the buyer shown at ticket selection (UK only)
To comply with UK legislation, any fees that are being charged to the customer will now show at the ticket selection page. This will see the fees be added to the ticket price with the fee breakdown listed directly below.
Event listing widget updates
The event listing widget has undergone an update to give you more options when linking your events to your website:
Thumbnail image displayed when viewed on a tablet or mobile
A strong thumbnail image plays a key role in capturing attention and encouraging potential attendees to learn more. By clearly reflecting the tone and theme of your event, it can spark interest, build appeal, and ultimately drive more clicks.
Include Book Now button
Help give a clearer call to action for potential customers viewing your event list. When enabled, the button will inherit the settings on the event i.e. button text and colour.
Option to include private events
Giving you more control over what events show on your website.
