You can embed your TryBooking event's entire checkout process using widgets, allowing buyers to register without leaving your website
Widgets can boost your event’s visibility, encourage customers to make ticket purchases and bookings whenever they visit your website, all whilst while maximising your brand exposure.
Types of widgets
There are four types of event widgets:
Event listing
Displays a list of ALL events on your account. Automatically updates in real-time when new events added and old events pass, removing the need to manually update your website.
By default only events that are public and open will be displayed, however you will have the option to include Private Events and/or Event that have closed:
The buyer will be able to click on the event tile to proceed with booking/viewing their selected event. Choose whether to include action buttons to provide a strong call to action for you customers:

Purchase button
Inserts a button into your site that takes users to your TryBooking event page.
This is the only widget that takes the customer way from your website, opening up the TryBooking event into a new tab.
You can use the colour pickers to customise the button and text colours, along with selecting the required font size:
The button text will pull through from what is set in Homepage & Images.
Landing page
Inserts your event homepage directly into your website, saving doubling up on event information on dedicated event pages of your website.
Embedded booking
Bypasses the Homepage of the event and embeds the first selection point of the event directly on to your website.
Button and accent colour will pull through from what is set in Homepage & Images.
How to embed a widget on your website
We recommend you do not cache widget.js locally. Doing so will mean that any system updates or fixes made will not be automatically applied to your widgets, meaning you would re-embed the widget on your site via the below steps to have these updates applied.
The Event Listing widget
To add the Event Listing widget to your website:
From your account Dashboard, select Marketing Tools from the side menu
Click on the Event Listing Widget tab
Enable the desired setting for the widget
Click Copy next to the Website code at the bottom of the screen
Navigate to the HTML/Source code of your website
Paste in the copied code where you wish for the widget to be displayed
Individual Event widgets
From your account Dashboard, under the Manage Event Overview, click on the name of your event
Under Event Promotion, select Booking widgets
Click on the tab of the widget you wish to use
IMAGEClick Copy to Clipboard in the bottom right to copy out the HTML code
Navigate to the HTML/Source code of your website
Paste in the copied code where you wish for the widget to be displayed
Guidance for WordPress site
If using a WordPress site, you may need to add a Raw HTML plugin to give you access to the HTML/Source code of your site.
