It's no secret, TryBooking offer the lowest fees in the industry! There are no set-up costs, no subscriptions and no ongoing commitments. We keep it simple by offering the one low pricing tier for each region and keeping it free for free events.
Should you be taking payment through your TryBooking event, the transaction will be subjected to a processing fee and a ticket fee. These fees vary per region associated with your TryBooking account. Below details these fees per region.
Australia:
For bookings or donations made on events:
- For tickets over $5.00 in value, $0.50c ticket fee (charged to the Ticket Buyer by default)
For tickets set to $5.00 or less in value, $0.15 ticket fee (charged to the Ticket Buyer by default) - 2.5% processing fee (charged to the Event Organiser by default)
- 1% surcharge for foreign cards (charged to the Ticket Buyer)
- 0.5% surcharge for PayPal transactions (charged to the Ticket Buyer)
For donations made on fundraising pages:
- 2.5% donation fee (charged to the fundraiser by default)
- 1% surcharge for foreign cards (charged to the Ticket Buyer)
- 0.5% surcharge for PayPal transactions (charged to the Ticket Buyer)

New Zealand:
- $0.50 ticket fee (charged to the Ticket Buyer by default)
- 2.5% processing fee (charged to the Event Organiser by default)
- 1% surcharge for foreign cards (charged to the Ticket Buyer)
- PayPal not available in for NZ events
- 0.5% surcharge for Google Pay and Apple Pay transactions (charged to the Ticket Buyer)

- £0.15 ticket fee (charged to the Ticket Buyer by default)
- 5% processing fee (charged to the Event Organiser by default)
