By default, when a session, section or ticket type is reaching 20 or less, a count of the available tickets left will display. This counter can be turned off.
Your seat/space defines the capacity of each event and how many tickets that can be sold. If you have multiple session times, your seat/space capacity may be the same although you can set different capacities on each session time if required.
On the seat/space, you will see how many are booked for that session or section and also via the sections screen or on various reports.
In most events you will only have your seat/space capacity which once reached will either start your waitlist or show as sold out.
All tickets will take away from this capacity set in seat/space. You can adjust one session or section on an event.
When offering for say the first 20 people, you could consider setting up a ticket type, where you define a capacity on it of 20.
You may wish to also limit that one ticket to being purchased 1 at a time for the booking or session time.
This is a commonly used technique when setting up staff or VIP tickets.
When you have a small venue, you may choose to limit the numbers of tickets per transaction that can be bought to ensure your community has wide access to attending. To apply a limit per transaction, please select your event name from the dashboard and then limits. You may apply it for the overall event or per session time.
By default, when you have 20 or less tickets remaining, TryBooking will display an available number of tickets remaining. The aim of the count is to assist to know if their group will fit into that session or section and to give some sense of urgency to booking.
